We are seeking a highly qualified HSQE \/ Marine Manager to lead our safety, quality, and compliance function, ensuring our vessels are operated to the highest international standards.<\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Duties &amp; Responsibilities<\/h4>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Act as the company\u2019s Designated Person Ashore (DPA) under the ISM Code and Company Security Officer (CSO) under the ISPS Code.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure full compliance with ISM, ISPS, MLC, SOLAS, MARPOL, and all Flag\/Port State requirements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lead the company\u2019s Safety Management System (SMS), including updates, audits, and continuous improvement.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prepare and guide vessels for vetting inspections, RightShip assessments, PSC inspections, flag\/class audits, and customer audits.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conduct internal audits, navigational assessments, risk evaluations, and incident investigations onboard and ashore.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitor vessel performance in terms of safety, navigation, and environmental compliance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Develop and deliver training programs, safety drills, and awareness campaigns for both seagoing and shore personnel.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Liaise with Masters, Marine\/Technical Superintendents, Charterers, Flag State, Classification Societies, and external stakeholders on compliance issues.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain accurate records, audit reports, and compliance documentation for management and regulatory review.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Minimum Requirements<\/h4>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>University degree in Maritime Studies, Marine Engineering, or Nautical Science.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Seagoing background as Master or Chief Officer on dry bulk carriers preferred.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proven shore-based experience as Marine Superintendent, HSQE Manager, or similar role.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong knowledge of ISM, ISPS, MLC, MARPOL, SOLAS, and other international regulations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Demonstrated experience in vetting preparation, audits, and inspections (RightShip, PSC, Class, Flag).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fluency in English and Greek (spoken &amp; written), with strong report-writing ability.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">We Offer<\/h4>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Full employment contract with long-term stability.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Senior role within a newly established dry bulk fleet maritime company.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Competitive remuneration package aligned with experience and industry standards.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Opportunity to build and lead the company\u2019s HSQE &amp; Vetting function from the ground up.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Professional, team-oriented working environment with strong career growth potential.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>Application<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>Qualified candidates are invited to submit their CV and cover letter to:<\/p>\n\n<p><a href=\"mailto:hr@dice-maritime.com\">hr@dice-maritime.com<\/a><\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Subject line: Application \u2013 HSQE \/ Marine Manager (DPA &amp; CSO)<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false},"job-cat":[4],"class_list":["post-310","job","type-job","status-publish","hentry","job-cat-shore-based"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/dice-maritime.com\/el\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job\/310","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/dice-maritime.com\/el\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/dice-maritime.com\/el\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/job"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/dice-maritime.com\/el\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=310"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"job-cat","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/dice-maritime.com\/el\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job-cat?post=310"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
