About the Company
We are a newly established and expanding dry bulk fleet maritime company, backed by strong ownership and a vision to become a reliable player in the global shipping market. Our fleet is managed to the highest operational and safety standards, and we are seeking experienced professionals to join us in this exciting growth phase.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Overall command of the vessel with full responsibility for navigation, safety, cargo operations, and crew management in compliance with ISM Code, ISPS Code, SOLAS, MARPOL, MLC and Flag State regulations.
- Voyage planning, ship handling, and maneuvering during ocean passages, port approaches, and confined waters.
- Supervision of loading, stowage, trimming, and discharge of bulk cargoes in line with the BLU Code and International Grain Code to ensure safe carriage and vessel stability.
- Ensure the vessel’s Safety Management System (SMS) is implemented and maintained at all times.
- Conduct regular safety drills, risk assessments, and navigational audits.
- Liaise effectively with Charterers, Port State Control, Class, Agents, and Owners’ office.
Minimum Requirements
- Valid STCW CoC II/2 Master – Unlimited.
- Valid STCW endorsements (GMDSS GOC, Advanced Firefighting, PSCRB, Medical Care, etc.).
- Minimum 5 years’ sea service as Master on Dry Bulk Carriers (geared or gearless).
- Demonstrated knowledge of bulk cargo operations, ballast water management, COLREGs, ISM/ISPS requirements, and international maritime conventions.
- Strong leadership, communication, and crisis management skills.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
